Modern and Practical Medical Education is a unique and innovative lifelong learning programme that provides a structured support system for academic staff in mastering the framework and applying best practices in medical education, enabling them to achieve the highest level of creative freedom in their teaching practice. The programme includes 70 compulsory teaching hours delivered over 17 weeks in a hybrid format, with the option of an additional two weeks of training (20 hours) through an elective course in Module 3, and a further two weeks of training (12 hours) through an elective course in Module 4.
E-courses: Initial planning of teaching / Selecting learning methods, creating teaching materials and conducting classes / Monitoring progress and assessing students and classes / Simulation of clinical teaching / Integration and (re)contextualization of basic courses with early clinical exposure / Application of e-learning tools in medical education.

Peer review is a form of institutional research into the quality of teaching in higher education, aimed at improving an individual teacher’s performance based on feedback from another teacher. Through 12 hours of instruction, the programme aims to familiarise academic staff with the fundamental concepts of peer review as a form of institutional quality research in teaching, as well as its specific application in medical education, and to train them to independently perform the role of reviewer.

The aim of this continuing professional development programme is to provide high-quality scientific education that enables the development of key practical scientific knowledge and skills, as well as analytical thinking in science. The programme comprises 43 hours of teaching delivered through four courses, which cover in detail the types, structure, and function of scientific articles and conference abstracts, critical analysis of scientific literature and conference presentations, the preparation and submission of articles and abstracts for scientific journals and conferences, principles of scientific writing, case report writing based on real patients, types of scientific research, and the fundamentals of biostatistics.

The aim of the course Implementing the Flipped Classroom in Medical Education is to equip academic staff with the skills to implement the flipped classroom model in their own teaching practice in the field of medical education. This is achieved through familiarisation with its core principles, the development of teaching materials for both asynchronous online learning and face-to-face components of the teaching process, and the provision of structured expert feedback. The programme is designed in response to the growing need for systematic educational support for academic staff in the application of digital technologies and the modernisation of teaching, with a particular emphasis on hybrid teaching shaped according to the principles of the flipped classroom approach.
